Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire – President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to attend the investiture ceremony of President Alassane Ouattara, who is beginning another term in office.

President Mahama traveled to Abidjan from Doha, Qatar, following his participation in the Doha Forum. His attendance underscores the diplomatic relationship between Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, as he joins other regional and international dignitaries for the ceremony.

The Presidency confirmed that Mr. Mahama is scheduled to return home immediately after the ceremony concludes this morning.
